Once both the parent and the student understand the necessity of the test, they will be able to practice the skills that the test will be measuring. These tests often determine high school graduation or acceptance into universities. Helping a child understand the importance of these tests and working with them so that they may perform to their full potential will help them go far in life.

You can also help your child excel by enrolling them into extracurricular math programs. Many universities offer math camps and workshops. Additionally, professional tutors are able to offer students instruction for mathematical skills and concepts that parents do not always know how to approach.
