GED Classes: How Does Taking a GED Class Help?
GED classes not only help prepare your for the GED test, but they will also bring your subject level knowledge up to speed. Class instructors can identify your weaknesses and work with you to strengthen your comprehension and retention. Read on to find out how taking a GED class can help you!
Why Take a GED Class?
According to Wikipedia, www.wikipedia.com, the popularity of GED classes has increased due to the low pass rate (30%) for individuals taking the test for the first time. Many local adult education boards now offer intensive tutoring for GED seekers, often financed by state boards of education and often free of charge to students.
GED classes are usually held once a week, and students have the opportunity to review the five subject areas covered by the GED test (reading, writing, math, social studies, and science). Similar to a standard classroom atmosphere, textbooks are used, and homework is often assigned to students. Some school districts also offer individual tutoring for more specialized help.
