How to Earn a GED in Baltimore

Eligibility Requirements

Before taking the GED, you must be a resident of Maryland for at least three months and be at least 16. You must not have a high school diploma or certificate from any state or have obtained a Maryland High School Certificate of Program Completion.

The GED Test

The GED assesses the concepts and skills taught in a high school curriculum. The certificate is considered equivalent to a high school diploma by most colleges and employers.
