Educational Activities from Fun Brain

Fun Brain has educational games in reading and math for kids in kindergarten through eighth grade. Your child can also access kid-friendly blogs, Mad Libs, comics and books on this site. The games provided by Fun Brain can be categorized either by subject or grade level to help you and your child find what you need.

A popular math game is 'Math Baseball'. In this game, your child must answer math problems correctly in order to swing and hit the ball. The level of play ranges from 'easy' to 'super brain' and the problems cover addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. You can also choose to have the problems presented in an algebraic format.

'Stay Afloat' is a typical word game from Fun Brain. It's similar to Hangman; however, the objective is to prevent a boat from sinking. You can decide what kinds of words will be included in the game. The topics include science, geography, history and music.

Fun School's Learning Tools

For more fun learning activities and games, sit down with your child and check out Fun School. These games are typically colorful, interactive and offer practice in a variety of skills and subjects. Science, math, reading comprehension and history are a few of the subjects covered by Fun School's games.

Whatever your child's hobbies and interests are, there's a fair chance that Fun School has a game for him or her. For example, if your child likes dinosaurs, there's an entire activity center dedicated to dinosaurs. At the dinosaur activity center, your child will find three dinosaur-themed games, three craft activities, a recipe for dinosaur cookies and a quiz.

Games from PBS Kids

PBS Kids offers a variety of free games, stories and activities. The games are mostly for young children in elementary school. Many activities are based on popular PBS television shows, like 'Sesame Street'. There are also useful sections of the site for parents and teachers.
