Sample Tests at EDinformatics

Here, you can download grade 7 PDF practice tests in reading and ELA for New York, Massachusetts, Texas, and Florida. If your state's test isn't offered here, you can also check the website for your state's department of education to see if tests from previous years are available.

For the 7th grade New York State ELA test, there are two printable test books and a bubble sheet. The first book contains reading passages and multiple-choice comprehension questions. The second book is for the listening section, and the listening sample is also available to read aloud. Your child is required to listen, take notes and then answer questions about the story. Additionally, there's a scoring guide with answers to the multiple-choice questions and a rubric for the short answer questions.
