The Purpose of Enchanted Learning

Enchanted Learning's website is designed to be a helpful learning tool for your child. Mitchell Spector and Jeananda Col, both educators and software designers, founded the site in 1995. Their mission was to create an interactive website full of games, activities and worksheets covering every subject a child could possibly need. Enchanted Learning currently offers over 30,000 pages of content and is growing every day.

Enchanted Learning has activities based on almost every common preschool and elementary theme imaginable, which is convenient for teachers and parents who are planning lessons. The bulk of the material available from Enchanted Learning is created to be hands-on for kids. The subjects you'll find at Enchanted Learning include, but certainly aren't limited to, math, foreign languages, social studies, science, art and language arts.

In the language arts section, there is a picture dictionary available and a variety of printable books, which are useful because your child can color the pictures and highlight important or challenging words. There are coloring pages, illustrated nursery rhymes, and hundreds of games. Many activities follow specific themes, like holidays, seasons or types of animals.

How to Subscribe

If you subscribe to the site for $20 per year, you'll receive unlimited access to Enchanted Learning's resources. The site will then be free of ads and you will be able to log in from any computer with your personal username and password. After a full year, your subscription will not be automatically renewed.

There's also the option for a 'single-school-subscription' that allows access to Enchanted Learning for the entire staff. This costs $125 per year.

Free Resources

Before subscribing, you can preview pages to decide whether the resources on this site meet your needs. If you don't want to pay the monthly fee, you can still use the free, sample resources to help your child. One free sample available is an outlined map of Japan. Another resource portrays the life cycle of a ladybug.
