This site offers tutorials on the topics of health, world languages, technology, visual arts and performance arts, as well as interactive tutorials and games that your child can play. Fact Monster's Homework Center
Fact Monster's homework center covers a wide range of subjects, including geography, history, language arts, math, science and social studies. Each subject is divided into a number of categories in order to help your child narrow down what lessons she needs. For example, the science page includes sections for the earth, life and physical sciences.
Each section is further divided into subsections. The earth science section breaks down into astronomy, environment, energy, geology and weather. Your child will find articles, charts and useful activities for his chosen topic.
Fact Monster has sections that can help your child with homework skills, like studying, listening, speaking, research and writing. There's also news for kids, quizzes, games, a dictionary, encyclopedias, an atlas and an almanac.
Tutorials from AAA Math
For K-8 math help, your child can read the tutorials and complete the practice problems at AAA Math. Learning materials at AAA Math are organized into 25 subjects, including addition, geometry and exponents. Every section has a detailed table of contents in which every topic leads to a tutorial. There's also a Spanish version of the AAA Math site.
For help in other subjects, there are links to several other AAA sites. AAA offers tutorials and lessons for spelling, vocabulary and geography. You and your child will also find brain games, such as Sudoku.
