Reading Planet is comprised of four main sections that include games, activities, books and ways that your child can express him or herself. Your child can join the site for free for extra features, like contests, e-cards and the ability to vote on what goes on at Reading Planet's site.

Education.com offers dozens of third grade reading worksheets, which are divided into two major categories: vocabulary and comprehension. Even though there's a section dedicated to reading comprehension exclusively, it may be wise to view all of the worksheets together since many of the vocabulary worksheets address comprehension topics as well. Although you can sign up for Education.com for free, it isn't necessary. You can view all of the available worksheets and answer keys in your Web browser or download and print them out for your child.
