FreeTypingGame.Net Games

FreeTypingGame.Net has typing games, lessons and tests available on its website. The typing tutor takes kids through 30 sequential lessons on keyboarding skills, and children are awarded a printable certificate upon completion. Timed typing tests and certificate typing tests have an additional 40 lessons and games. Typing lessons teach two keys at a time and review previous lessons.

In Desert Typing Racer, kids type the name of a car as it races by, while trying to avoid oncoming traffic. Similarly, Meteor Typing Blast has kids type in words above objects before they smash into their spaceship. Both are available for beginning, intermediate or advanced levels of typing ability.

Keyflex increases reaction time by having players hit as many highlighted keys as they can in 60 seconds. Another timed game, Keyboard Simon, reinforces keystroke skills by asking kids to remember and reproduce a series of computer-generated letters.
