Sixth Grade Geometry Worksheets
If you want to give your child extra geometry practice, you can download free worksheets from the Internet. The following sites offer either printable worksheets or online practice for sixth grade geometry.
Worksheets from HelpingWithMath.com
Here's a collection of free, printable worksheets on geometry topics like calculating area and plotting coordinate points. This site also has worksheets to help your child practice other sixth grade math skills, such as calculating ratios, percentages and exponents. Most of these worksheets have between six and eight questions, and they can be printed with or without answers. This website provides seven geometry worksheets for sixth grade.
Online Problems from AAA Math
These math lessons come with practice problems that can be completed online. If your sixth grader needs some geometry review or an explanation of a certain geometry concept, this resource may be helpful, even though it doesn't include any printable worksheets. It features links to geometry lessons and practice problems for topics like area and perimeter, complementary and supplementary angles, volume formulas and properties of triangles.
Once you click on a link, you'll see either a written lesson or a chart demonstrating the relevant equation or formula. The practice problems are found at the bottom of each lesson page. One problem appears onscreen at a time, and the correct solution will appear after you submit your answer. The website tracks your total number of correct and incorrect answers for each lesson.
Free Resources from Math-Drills.com
Several dozen printable geometry worksheets are available here. They are not specifically described as sixth grade resources, but some of them are appropriate for students at this grade level.
The exercises cover topics ranging from recognizing whether an angle is acute, obtuse or right to identifying the measures of corresponding angles. The worksheets are arranged into three geometry categories: angle, transformational and 3-dimensional. Up to ten worksheets are included for some topics, while others have only two or three worksheets. Answer keys are included in the document containing the printable worksheet.
