Math Fact Cafe's Resources

Here, you'll find a plethora of both online and printable 4th grade math problems. For each type of problem there is a list of resources, which are identified using symbols. Use the key at the top to find resources such as flash cards and different types of worksheets.

The online flashcards can help your son or daughter master division, subtraction, multiplication and addition. One problem will appear at a time, and while there isn't a built-in timer, these would make great timed drills if you set an alarm.

Many of the full worksheets come both in online and printable forms. The online versions will be corrected instantly once your child clicks on the 'check answers' button. The printable sheets come with answer keys. Use the worksheet titles to find the resources that will be most helpful for your child. For example, you'll see some division exercises with 2-digit numbers being divided into 1-digit numbers, and others where 3-digit numbers are divided by 2-digit ones.

Worksheets from HelpingWithMath.com

For more advanced arithmetic practice, you can print review worksheets from this website. All the worksheets come with answers. None of the problems can be completed online.

Topics covered on the 4th grade math page include decimals, fractions, place value, rounding and multiplication. Since the majority of these worksheets deal with more advanced 4th grade topics, your child may want to start with a different site and use these during the latter part of the school year.

Activities from DadsWorksheets.com

These worksheets here are categorized by topic rather than grade level. However, there are so many math problems that you will probably be able to find plenty of appropriate practice problems for your child, regardless of his or her math ability. You'll have to browse by subject, but many of the 3,000 worksheets at this site are at the 4th grade level. All the worksheets are printable. Topics include multiplication, addition and division. For many of the worksheets, a timer and answer key are provided.
