Although the worksheets are meant to be printed out, there's also a timer on the site your child can use to test his or her speed while working. Each worksheet comes in four versions according to difficulty, so your child can advance from one to four as he or she masters the unit.
A mixed operations worksheet includes both multiplication and division problems. In some worksheets, one of the numbers being divided is missing but the solution is given. Your child must determine what the missing number is. The next problem might similarly show an equation, this time with multiplication, with a missing number. This type of problem will help your child build a firm foundation for solving more complex linear equations in high school algebra.
