When you go on Quiz-Tree's site, simply select the subject that you want your teen to be quizzed on. You'll be taken to a new page full of more specific categories that you can choose from. If you select foreign languages, for example, you can choose from quizzes covering Spanish vocabulary, Italian vocabulary, Chinese characters and more. If you choose Spanish vocabulary, you'll find dozens of quizzes addressing everything from shopping to numbers and occupations.

Book Adventure's 9th Grade Book Quizzes

Book Adventure is a unique website that provides free book lists and multiple-choice reading quizzes for grades K-12. These quizzes will test your child's reading comprehension, fluency and other reading skills. Book Adventure offers listings of over 8000 books that can be organized by category. Although many similar sites offer extensive book lists as well, Book Adventure stands out from the crowd by offering quizzes for all of these books. You must register to take the quizzes; however, registration is completely free.

Algebra Worksheets from Algebrahelp.com

Here, you can find algebra worksheets, lessons and even calculators. If your 9th grader is struggling to understand a particular algebra topic, then he or she can begin with a lesson on simplifying, negative exponents or factoring. The lessons are thorough and include many examples.

Then, you can quiz your teen's knowledge with an online worksheet. Because these worksheets are completely online, your teen can enter his or her answers and have them scored immediately. The worksheets come with a sample question and, if your 9th grader gets stuck, he or she can click the 'step-by-step' link for hints.
