Free Geometry Help from Math-Tests.com

Two free online geometry quizzes are offered here. In each quiz, one problem appears onscreen at a time. Your child can type in an answer, hit 'enter,' and then he will be presented with a new question. One quiz is a general geometry assessment; the other deals strictly with the Pythagorean Theorem. Some of the questions on the general test address the problem of finding the area of a triangle. Others ask for the proper name of a geometric shape.

Printable geometry worksheets are also offered. Some of the worksheet topics include classifying polygons and measuring angles. When your child finishes with geometry, you may still find the tests here useful because there are test prep materials for the SAT.

Online Geometry Quizzes from Kids Math Games

Here, there are two 10-question quizzes: one on geometry and one on shapes. The problems in these quizzes are written out in sentence form and do not include diagrams. The quizzes are printable and the answers appear underneath the questions. In the printable version, only the questions are included. The answers can be viewed online. It won't be necessary to draw any pictures in order to complete these quizzes. The questions are more centered on geometry vocabulary and facts than on individual shapes.

Geometry Test Practice from ClassZone

Textbook company Houghton Mifflin's subsidiary website, ClassZone, offers end-of-chapter practice tests in geometry. Each chapter test has 14 questions and must be taken entirely online. One problem is presented at a time, and once your child answers it, she can either move on to the next question or have the quiz scored. In total, there are 12 chapter tests. Chapter headings include topics such as quadrilaterals, reasoning and proof, area of polygons and circles and congruent triangles.
