Online Quizzes from Math-Tests.com

Here are four free, online 7th grade math assessments. Each one has a timer set at 30 minutes, which begins counting down as soon as the quiz is opened. These quizzes can help your 7th grader recall math facts with greater speed. The quizzes cover addition, subtraction, graphing and translating points on a coordinate plane.

These assessments can only be completed online. The questions are multiple-choice and appear one at a time on the screen. If your child answers a question incorrectly, a box will pop up saying that the answer was wrong. The box will also have the correct answer, which gives kids a chance to go back, look at the graph and understand their mistake.

7th Grade Test from the Texas Education Agency

This released 2009 math test from Texas can help your 7th grader assess his or her abilities no matter where you live. There are a total of 48 multiple-choice questions given, which cover the full 7th grade math curriculum.

Though you cannot take this test online, it can be downloaded and printed from the site. You can also download an answer key, which you can use to correct the test after your child has taken it. Some of the topics found on this exam are algebraic expressions, geometry, logical reasoning and interpreting data from charts. This test is open to all students, so you don't have to use any password or code to access this exam.

Math Resources from Softschools.com

Here you'll find a variety of both online and printable math activities for 7th graders. Your child can print out worksheets from the right side of the page, or complete the online, self-correcting quizzes on the left side. All the printable worksheets come with answer keys. Some of the topics include place value, rounding, measurement, percents, fractions and integers.
