SoftSchool's Math Activities

Here, you'll find lots of free math exercises for 7th graders, including printable worksheets and online problems. However, be careful which worksheets you have your child work on because not all of them come with answer keys.

The 'games' column contains online problem generators for different types of math commonly learned in 6th or 7th grade. These games feature individual math problems that your son or daughter can complete online. The computer automatically corrects each problem after it is answered. Some of the math units covered by these activities include rounding, place value, ratios and percentages. The online problems could be used as timed quizzes if you set up an alarm clock and see how many problems your child can answer in a certain period of time.

Problems from TheMathWorksheetSite.com

Simple PDF worksheets are available here at various difficulty levels. You can choose from a list of math topics, including fractions, graphing, multiplication and division, to create the printable worksheets. You are given some options in the creation of the worksheets. For instance, you can choose the number of problems and the numbers used in the problems. You can also decide to include an answer key.

For some of the worksheets, you can set the difficulty level from 1-4. In order to decide what level to set for the worksheets, try out a few and see which level seems to match your child's math book. If you have more than one child, you may find that the same categories (such as 'division') work for kids in several grade levels once you adjust the difficulty level accordingly.

Helping with Math's Worksheets

Choose from over 25 free math worksheets on 7th grade topics, including whole numbers, fractions, decimals, geometry and percentages. Answers keys are provided. These worksheets are based on the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics and can help your child build critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
