Math 4 Children's 1st Grade Math Worksheets

You can print these colorful PDF math worksheets for your child to practice at home. The worksheets use visual embellishments and rainbow colors to illustrate addition, comparisons and estimations. Answer keys are not included, but the equations and concepts in the worksheets are so basic that these most likely won't be necessary. The approaches vary from sheet to sheet - some have puzzles, others simply have equations. It may be useful to see which mode of worksheet your child responds to best, since this may indicate his or her learning style.

1st Grade Math Review from edHelper.com

Here, there are four levels of 1st grade math worksheets. The first level presents problems from the units covered in the first two months of 1st grade. The second level deals with concepts introduced in the next three months. The third level addresses the following three months and, finally, the fourth level addresses concepts that were taught over the course of the entire year. Pictures appear on the worksheets to illustrate counting questions and there are many different types of problems on each sheet.

You can choose to make each worksheet anywhere from 1-4 pages long, and you can choose to produce an answer key. You may want to use these sheets each term to check your child's progress. They may also come in handy as refreshers during the summer or right before starting 2nd grade.
