4th Grade Spelling: Words that Fourth Graders Should Know

Where Can I Find 4th Grade Spelling Word Lists?

Grade-appropriate vocabulary words are easily accessible online from a variety of free teaching and education sites. In addition to new words your child can practice, several sites also offer interactive spelling games or printable worksheets. If you do not have easy access to the Web, some bookstores offer spelling curriculum books by grade or age level that can be used outside of the classroom. If you're struggling to find new word lists, try consulting your child's teacher for more direction.

Wheeze (hweez)

1. The sound caused by difficult breathing.

1. To have difficulty breathing, accompanied by a whistling sound.
