Algebra for 7th Graders: Exercises and Tests
If your 7th grader needs some extra math practice, you may want to check out some of the free resources available online. The following sites offer math lessons, worksheets and quizzes to help kids sharpen their math skills.

Your 7th grader can review algebra concepts through these free tutorial videos and online practice problems. The online math problems can be used as worksheets or quizzes, depending on whether a timer is used. Six algebra worksheets are given, as well as many more on related topics, such as linear functions and rational numbers.
The videos are fairly short, usually about two minutes long, and feature a teacher explaining a single topic in basic algebra. Video topics include identifying algebraic expressions, translating words into equations and solving linear equations with one or more variables. If your child finds his or her 7th grade math teacher hard to understand, some of these videos might help.
